The objective of this work was to perform the environmental characterization of the landscape and the diagnosis of use and land cover in 2007 and 2017, with the purpose of generating information to support the regional planning of the Tietê-Jacaré River Hydrographic Basin, São Paulo, Brazil. The information of Geological Units; Relief units and Relief digital model; Hypsometric classes; Classes of declivity; Pedological units; Aquifer units; Drainage network; Road network; Conservation Units, Socioeconomic Data Collection of the municipalities that contemplate the Tietê-Jacaré Hydrographic Basin and Use and land Coverage were elaborate. The Tietê-Jacaré Basin has a high potential for the development of agricultural activities, mainly due to the evidence of low slopes and the characteristics of the present soils, which were confirmed by the classification of land use and land cover, which demonstrated the predominance of such activities in all regions of the basin, culminating also in the expansion of the road network over the years.
